Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions apply to all business transactions carried out by 'Craigsplates.com Ltd', hereinafter referred to as the 'Company'.
2) The person applying for bespoke goods from the 'Company' is hereinafter referred to as the 'Purchaser'.
3) Your statutory rights are not affected.
It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure that all the correct details are entered into Company Internet forms and submitted or given to the Company's representative at the time of purchase. The Company's representative shall use standard phonetics to refer to combinations requested by the Purchaser.
Platemaker is a tool to give the Purchaser an indication of the various fonts and badges available, it is not intended as an accurate representation of the final plate or sign. No guarantees are given as to the accuracy of the colours and spacing.
Persuant to section 13 © of the Consumer Proctection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (Statutory Instrument 200 No.2334) no cancellations are accepted once your order has been placed be that by internet, telephone or through the mail. Subsequently there is no 'cooling off period', the transaction cannot be reversed and no refund can be given.
A full refund will only be given provided that the failure is through no fault of the Purchaser but by the Company. The Company's liability is strictly limited to a full refund only and no claims for damages; interest on monies paid or any other expenses shall be entertained.
The 'Company' manufactures both UK road legal plates and signs. No UK road legal plates will be shipped until we have all the necessary documentation specified by the DVLA – this can be found on our road legal plate order page. Do not submit your order if you do not intend to provide this documentation. Signs are manufactured and supplied for 'off road' use only, rally days, car shows, exhibitions and use on private land where the law does not apply. If these signs are put on vehicles using the UK roads you will be committing an offence which upon conviction carries a maximum fine of £1000. Mis-spacing or mis-representing your letters and numbers is an offence under the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 1971.
Delivery, Post and Packing
Guaranteed Next Day Delivery is only available Monday – Thursday on orders received by 2pm on that day. Guaranteed Next Day orders received before the 2pm deadline on a Friday will be delivered on the next working day which is Monday. Guaranteed Next Day orders received after 2pm Friday and before Monday will be treated as Monday orders.
Express Orders are despatched 1st class, 2 working days after the order is received. Standard Orders are despatched 2nd class, 5 working days after the order is received. The Company reserves the right to despatch goods earlier than stated. Orders may require a signature on delivery.
All orders are shipped using Royal Mail and the Company cannot accept responsibility for delays or errors caused by the postal system, third party carriers or electronic mail.
Returns
If your order is damaged or defective you must return it to us within 14 days of receipt. Before returning your order you must contact the Company for a returns number.

If any term, provision, covenant or condition of this agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected, impaired or invalidated. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties in respect of the purchase.
Every effort is made to ensure that the material shown on this web site does not cause offence to any individual or third party. If there is any material on this web site that does in fact cause offence to any individual or third party then the 'Company' welcomes contact from that individual or third party and we shall then consider removal of the offending material.
This agreement shall be governed and constructed in accordance with English Law each party thereto submits to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
